Overall happy with this replica. Some minor things. Does not include a wall mount piece. I suggest getting one and putting it in just in case. This thing is huge.
Initial unboxing was worrisome. There were several larger pieces loose in the package. Turns out they get used in various stages of the build. Had concerns I’d be dealing with a lot of missing pieces but nothing was missing.
Instructions are not a 1:1 match with the Danish/L brand. Some steps are in different orders and some steps are different. Some of the black plates included with the replica are different than the L brand but work. I chose to swap them out with and use the L brand instructions.
Plastic pieces of cockpit were pretty scratched up and don’t hold together great. From what I’ve read that’s not unique to this replica and other replicas and even the L brand pieces are kind of lacking in quality.
Large black plates terrible clutch. Simply out they are not the same quality as Danish brand plates. Luckily as you progress through the build some other pieces and assemblies improve this.
Took way longer than expected to receive it. China to US by way of FLYT to USPS to destination is brutally inefficient and at points tracking was basically wrong or useless.
Minifigs as expected not great. No boombox for the goon no quill for joker very sub par cheap cape for the caped crusader.
All that said I’ve placed another order with Herotoyz and will probably continue to order in the future. My next project is the Bat Cave Shadow Box.
